Travel photography – wow

The bow and I Over the last few months I took the plunge and dove into the deep end of photography.  I may have had a camera in my hand for the last 15 years but wow was I clueless as to what could be done.  I realized this simple yet very important fact as I dove deeper and deeper into the the ocean of pictures available on the internet (no, not porn, although some of their portrait techniques are quite useful). I was amazed by what complex feelings simple images could evoke if composed and titled correctly.

Rather then go into length about my experiences I’ll just pass some of the sites I found and let you see for yourself. Take a look at them and let me know what you think.

Here they are in no particular order:

Mitchell Kanashkevich Photography
1x a site of single exposure shots
Jim Patterson Photography
Hark Lee Photography

Becoming the best travel photographer I can means looking at the best, or at least what I like, and learning from them. I hope that you learned something that will help your photography as well.

UI remember the explanation you gave of the different poses and what they depicted. I was impressed. I guess you see more than I do. I’m proud of you. Have a great trip.
