Unfortunately I’m not going to get to tell you all of the crazy things that happened to me while roving about Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka and you have only me to blame. For some reason those places felt like home to me and I slipped into the easygoing lifestyle that was so familiar to me, IE being lazy. So, instead what I will do is offer up a few teasers and those of you who are interested enough can ask me via email or treat me to a beer the next time we meet (no Pilsner beer please).

There was the wild night I had in Shibuya for the Japan – Paraguay game (as well as a few other crazy nights and a few other World Cup games). (See the video here)

There was the group of radical, hate filled people yelling through loudspeakers from the top of a van outside Shibuya Station. Apparently foreigners were the cause of all the problems in Japan…reminds me of some groups we have in the USA *cough*KKK*cough*. (See the video here)
Enjoying a relaxing evening at my friend Mr. Kubo’s penthouse apartment in Shinjuku (fantastic food and drink).
Having a wild and crazy night out in Shinjuku’s famous Nichome. If you don’t know what that place is follow the link. (No pictures available)

The interesting mix of new and old with my walks through Akahibara and Asakusa.
And much, much more.
I’m on to the next stage of my journey and there’s no more time right now to dwell on what happened in Japan.

I spent a year as an exchange student in Kyoto Japan, and I have to say I probably wouldnt have survived if it wasnt for a cheap dinner of udon a couple of times a week! There is even one shop where you can eat for free if you do 30 minutes of washing after! Anyway, I found a load more tasty looking ideas at this udon recipe site.
