Taiwan: End of the second leg

So, once again I have run out of time and can’t give you the nitty gritty details of the rest of my adventures in Taiwan.  That’s not necessarily a bad thing.  Now you will have something to ask me about the next time we meet and you buy me a beer ;) .

Some of the things I didn’t get to were:

Exploring Hualien…

My train ride back to Taipei…

Getting business cards printed in Taipei with a company that didn’t speak any English…

Meeting up with Shila (who I met in Hualien) and exploring Taipei with her…

My last day in Taipei and the flight to Singapore

There are a bunch of pictures of those days/events in the Trip Pics section of my page so feel free to check them out.

Stay tuned for the first installment of my adventures in Singapore.  Sleeping in an airport has never been so much fun…

Hi Mike…In reading your itinerary, I’m glad you’re having a good, and safe time, and meeting a bunch of friendly and helpful people. I’m sure it makes life a little easier and more interesting. We finally bought a mike for the computer and need just a litttle help, I guess to make it work. Hope to talk to you soon. Keep us posted. We’re welland planning to be down in Chicago starting next Wednesday with Christina, Eric and Connor. We’re going and coming by train and will use only public transportation while in Chicago. It will be fun and interesting. Be well. Love Momn and Dad

    Hi Dad,

Good luck with the public transportation down in Chicago. I’ve found public transportation on my trip to be invaluable so far :) . Hope to hear from you soon via Skype.

    Mike
