Well, my trip is over as those who have been following my blog know. The question is, ‘now what?’ I mean in terms of what is this website going to become, not as to what is to become of me. That question is pretty much answered, get a job. Talking about it is done, I’m in the process of doing.
I’ve built up a decent fan base (thanks everyone!) and from the feedback I get from you all my photography seems to be your main interest. I’m sure a few of you followed along my harrowing journey via the words I wrote but the majority just looked at the pictures and moved on, most likely eager to meet me in person and buy me a beer while I wander verbally through the adventure.
So in order to pander to my fans the focus of this website will be changing from a travel blog where pictures supported my story to a blog where a story supports the photography. I’ll probably be throwing some educational stuff in there as well.
The transition may be rough as I once again have to find a voice that works for what I’m doing so please be patient and, as usual, feedback is always appreciated.
In the next week or so (if I’m not too busy getting ready for a meet and greet/interview I have coming up) the changeover should be complete. The tech side of it looks to be a challenge as I figure out how to move the around without ruining all the Google visibility I’ve built up.
