What’s worse then having one leg soaked up to the knee in freezing cold water while you are wandering around outside in a snow covered nature preserve trying to take photographs?  Simple, having both legs soaked up to the knee in freezing cold water.  Did that sloshy feeling in my boots as I gingerly stepped on the thinning ice send me running home for hot chocolate and dry socks?  Heck no.

Hats off to pro photographers

A little off the top

I now look at photography and other photographers with a new level of respect.  Yesterday, with the aid of a friend posing as my model, I learned how much work goes into and how much knowledge is required to take a good photograph.  It seemed so simple in my mind but when it came to putting things into action my world was rocked.

Rejection, it happens to all of us.  Whether it’s out of nowhere or expected it feels about the same.  Color seems to fade from the world and we fight to catch our breaths.  It could be a job interview, a new customer, a love interest, rejection from any of them hurts.  Big or small ‘no’ it’s a blow to the bedrock of our confidence.  Here is a 3 step process to overcome rejection.
