The long road

The next leg of my trip was going to be the hardest.  Even though I was already half way across the island in Aizu-Wakamatsu the big challenge was the road to Niigata.  Somewhere, I don’t know where, I had heard or read that the Niigata hitch was for some reason almost impossible.  A 120km stretch
